Vegetable Butter Rice Ingredients:
- 2 cups Basmati Rice
- 1 cup boiled Peas
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 Carrot, thinly sliced
- 1 cup Cabbage
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp pepper
- water as required
- salt to taste
How to make Vegetable Butter Rice:
- Rinse rice in 4-5 changes of water until the water runs clear.
- Soak the rice for 30 minutes.
- Cut vegetables into thin slices,shred the cabbage.
- In a deep skillet, add water and salt.
- Boiled rice in it;drain and set aside.
- In a pan , melt butter on low flame.
- Place all vegetables and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Then add stir fry vegetables into the rice.
- Stir well.
- Put the lid on, reduce heat to low.
- Cook for 10 minutes or until rice is done.
Vegetable Butter Rice is ready to serve.
- Serve hot with raita.
