Ingredients
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
Directions
- Heat the margarine over medium heat in a large skillet and sauté the onion for 2 minutes. Add the flour and garlic salt and sautee for 5 more minutes.
- Add the vegetable broth and cornstarch, stirring to mix the cornstarch well. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, stirring frequently to make sure no clumps are formed.
- Add the nutritional yeast and soy sauce and reduce heat. Cook for one more minute, stirring.
