Ingredients
- 6 green onions (a.k.a. scallions or spring onions)
- 1 to 3 scotch bonnet peppers (you decide how hot you want it)
- 2 teaspoons all spice berries (or 1 teaspoon dried and ground)
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (or 1 1/2 teaspoon dried)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup cane vinegar (or cider vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Preparation:
- Grind the above ingredients together in a mortar and pestle or with a food processor/blender.
- Store in a glass container in the refrigerator.
