Ingredients
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 1/2 cup onion finely mixed
- 1 lb carrots, shredded
- 1 lb potatoes, shredded
- 6 cups of chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1-2 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions
- In a large pot sauté onion in margarine.
- Add all ingredients except milk and cheese.
- Simmer until vegetables are tender.
- Add milk.
- When serving, spoon cheese over top of soup.
